Quickly, imagine....
Today we began by walking around a lake at sunrise to see the reflection of Mt Cook and Mt Tasman in a mirror of glass water and enchanting mist. We took a helicopter ride up to Fox Glacier and hiked around for three hours. In and out of ice caves and walking over endless white and blue ice. Drinking glacier water and delicately stepping over crevasses in our spiked boots. We ended eating our lunch on a stony and gray beach washed with scattered bleached tree trunks, while the angry sea warned us not to enter. We walked into a peaceful lagoon and sat on a bridge remembering our climb on the glacier. We jogged back in awe of our view with dramatic beach on one side, and glacier on the other; descending from up high down into rain forest, and bright green paddocks with cows and sheep linking the two.
This is the west coast of New Zealand's south island, safely, one can say their is nothing like it. Stunning to all the senses.
Love,
Leah and Jason

Dear Worldly Angels,
Betty send me your blog, and I was thrilled to be let in on your adventure. Thank you for taking the time to share with all of us the gift you have been given, and by that, I mean the ability to see Nature through gentle eyes, and grace strangers with open and pure hearts. God bless, be safe. You are great American ambassadors, our best future.
Love from Seattle, Lucia
